<p>By default, a dimmer in an area will be assigned to control all Lightcloud enabled luminaires within that area.&nbsp; If you desire, you may remove any number of luminaires from control.&nbsp;</p>

<p>You may find the settings for this in the devices screen under the device edit menu.&nbsp; We provide 2 controls for setting up which devices are controlled by a dimmer.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<ul><li>Control Zones:&nbsp; This is a list of Lightcloud devices that are assigned to this dimmer.&nbsp; We list all devices that are located in the same area as the dimmer.&nbsp; From this list, you may select or deselect any number of the lighting devices in the area.&nbsp; When you change the selected devices in the list, it will modify the second property, <em>Default</em></li><li>Default:&nbsp;</li></ul>

<ul><li>When <em>Default</em> is selected, the dimmer will automatically be reconfigured to control ALL devices within the area. Any time a new device is added to the area, the dimmer will be updated to control that device automatically as long as <em>Default</em> is enabled.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>

<ul><li>When <em>Default</em> is not selected, the dimmer will only control devices that are currently set in <em>Control Zones.</em>&nbsp; New devices added to the area will not be automatically added to the dimmer.</li></ul>



<p>On the LCHub, You may <em><strong>not</strong></em> assign a luminaire which has been grouped into a different area to be controlled by a dimmer.&nbsp; <br>Only devices which are grouped into the same area may be switched or dimmed.</p>
